Seriously though, with the job market being what it is, before you plonk down a huge chunk of cash for a degree at least have a look at the data below so that you will be aware of what your post graduation chances will look like. The common element of all these degrees is high unemployment and low initially salary. Still, we have one word of encouragement – if any of these are your life dream than go for it, just do your best to not get yourself (or your parents) into debt.
The data is from Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW), from the 2009 and 2010 American Community Survey, with median earnings based on full-time, full-year workers.
